Inspired by cyborg artists Neil Harbisson and Moon Ribas, young Spanish musician Kai Landre dares to implant a cybernetic organ, despite its legal risks. The implant promises the ability to hear sounds from outer space and a novel source of musical inspiration. As Landre undergoes MRI scans and navigates concerns from loved ones, ‘Cyborg Generation’ probes the allure of transcending traditional self-concepts and embarks on a gripping journey of creativity and personal freedom.
