‘No Other Land’ chronicles the unlikely alliance between Basel, a Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, and Yuval, an Israeli journalist. Basel documents the illegal land takeover by settlers and the destruction of his community’s homes, while Yuval covers the conflict from both sides. Initially met with scepticism, Yuval is eventually accepted by Basel’s community but becomes a target of the Israeli military. Amidst deep-seated inequality, their friendship highlights the shared humanity in a protracted conflict. Created by a Palestinian-Israeli activist collective, the film is a powerful act of creative resistance and a call for justice.
