In 2020, Index, one of Hungary's largest editorial offices, stood up as one when the freedom of independent journalism was finally threatened. András Földes, a member of the editorial staff, spent five years following the struggle of journalists concerned about press freedom, resulting in a documentary with a unique atmosphere reminiscent of detective films. The collective resignation of Index journalists was one of the biggest scandals of the year in Hungary and was reported in the international press.
