DIVIA

Dmytro Khreshko / 2025 / 79' / Poland, Ukraine, Netherlands, USA
Divia is a sound-driven, meditative odyssey through Ukraine’s wounded landscapes – a raw portrait of destruction beyond the front line. Without dialogue or narration, the film speaks through images: ashen forests, craters, rusting machines – a silence soaked in violence.
But nature does not surrender. Seasons return and grass breaks through the earth again. In this quiet reality, deminers, ecologists, and rescuers move carefully – helping life find its way back, assessing damage, searching for the missing. Divia is a meeting point between devastation and beauty, where observation itself becomes a form of resistance.
