But just then, Joe Biden asks him to stay one more year – because in an increasingly unstable world, experienced leaders are more essential than ever. The film follows his final year at the head of the alliance. Stoltenberg promises Zelensky that NATO will support Ukraine for as long as it takes. But as the war continues, so do fears that it could spread into Europe – along with rising tensions among the 32 member states. Navigating this fragile balance, Stoltenberg draws on his full diplomatic skillset to keep the alliance united.
