North Korean women meet South Korean men in this captivating and unexpected look at love, business, and geopolitics. After fleeing the North, Yujin Han rises to become the director of her own matchmaking agency, Lovestorya, which pairs North Korean defector women with South Korean men. Using her own marriage as a key advertisement, Yujin takes on the role of advisor, friend, and even stand-in mother-in law to the couples she brings together. But behind the scenes of her many ventures, the pressure begins to take a toll on her personal life.
